Pollution Problems!
This week the children in Room 6 have been researching rubbish and looking how they can reuse, reduce and recycle. As this is our focus for the term the children have been research and getting ahead for when we get back into the classroom. We have been looking into what all of these words mean and how we can prevent pollution in the world. Today for topic the children had a look at different types of pollution and how they can try prevent it. Look at some of these awesome posters they have created.
Hi Room 6.
ReplyDeleteYou have all some very strong ideas on pollution. And some great ideas on how we can take simple steps to help reduce pollution not just in our country, but worldwide.
I was particularly disgusted with NZ'ers this week as we moved into Level 3. With the reopening of takeaway shops there has been a huge amount of rubbish left lying around at places that had been in pristine condition for the last four weeks of level 4. So disappointing :(
On the positive side though, around the world there has been some unseen sights due to less human pollution. In Venice the canals have clear water; China has seen blue skies; and dugongs have appeared in mass amounts near Thailand. All this is great and a wee glimpse into what the world may have been like before there was huge amounts of tourism and the pollution that goes alongside it.
Keep up the great work and ideas :)
