Dragon eyes

 This term our art focus is clay.  We are making dragon eyes. This was the second step of our process. First we had to draw what we wanted our dragons eyes to look like. Next we had to create the dragons eyes out of plastercine. The last step is for us to make it out of air dry clay and then paint it with metallic paint. Keep your eye out for the final product. 

Ahaura History!

This Term we are learning about the history of Ahaura. We thought it would be a good start for us to take a walk around the town to look at some of the different historic spots.  We spent the afternoon at the Ahaura History Park. We read the information plaques - we found out lots of new information and made lots of connection to the family names displayed. We are looking forward to continuing this project.
